Owen Lowery-Pearson is a Geography masters student, so he really does know how to colour things in. Luckily, he also knows what it takes to make NUFWS great again! Our wonderful society wouldn’t function without him.

Anna Ridsdill-Smith is a very organised person and has obviously never missed a trip by sleeping in. She makes sure everything runs smoothly and ensures we actually have places to sleep on our weekend trips!

Gabriel Hodgkins-Webb is a very jolly man with a ginger beard. Like other jolly men with ginger beards, he runs on equal parts mountains and ale. He’s in charge of all things that cost money, like coaches and vans and fuel and jazz.

Rebecca Houston is perfect for the role of welfare sec, as she actually cares about your welfare! She’s a lovely person and is ready to hear anything you might have to say to her. She also makes sure we behave ourselves and follow SU rules. An important job!

Ted Traeger is madly in love with every piece of gear he owns. He even sleeps with his gear. He’s been known to drunkenly bid on eBay for gear. He just can’t get enough of the stuff. We’d like to stage an intervention, but it is quite useful. He’s the person to go to if you have any questions about kit and what to bring on our trips.

Seb Merricks is a great guy who definitely isn’t writing all of this. I He is in charge of organising and running all of our socials, including the Ceilidh and Ball. If you weren’t aware, come to The Strawberry at 8pm on a Wednesday!

Georgina Rowntree is our brilliant runner of social media. She makes all the great Instagram posts you’ve been seeing. Would you have heard of us without her? Maybe, but she does a great job either way.

Morag Grierson is our Nads Secretary and grandma. She’s an elder of the society, having joined as an undergrad and now doing her PhD. As such, she always has an opinion worth hearing, and isn’t afraid to give it. Beyond keeping Owen on a leash, she also plans the routes for our trips. Most importantly, she is a mother to our communal baby Nads.
