Our first day trip of the year took us to sunny Braithwaite. Blessed with good weather, our three routes explored Grisedale Pike and Whinlatter Forest. The short walk was 6km, taking in the forest and summitting Seat How. Medium conquered Grisedale Pike and Hopegill Head in an 11km round trip, while our longest walk continued on for another 5km before returning to the Coledale Inn for a warming pint and chips.

A successful first trip, hopefully a sign of sunny weather to come!
