Great trip camping in Banana field on Lake Coniston. To celebrate a wonderful year.

Short walk up Stony Cove Pike from Kirkstone pass on Friday. Nice walk up the south rake of Dow Crags and then round to Old Man of Coniston and down via Swirl How on Saturday and a nice day kayaking on Sunday before a walk from Aira Force on Monday taking in Gowbarrow fell. With much campsite fun had as well.
